The idea of a forum is to present the problems you are having to as many people as possible with the idea you will receive the correct answer from at least one of them.

The staff at SuggestAFix is proud of our reputation of fast response times, accurate information and professional attitudes.

The moderators are here to oversee the forums to make sure they run smoothly and everyone behaves themselves as well as offering information as they see fit.

Administrators are here to oversee the proper operations of the the site and forums. They too, may offer information as needed.

The private messaging feature enables one member to directly contact another member when privacy is warranted due to matters of a more personal nature. It is not there for members to request answers to topics that should be posted on the open forums or harass the staff. We do NOT offer one-on-one technical support. All PMs of this nature will be immediately deleted and the question will go unanswered. We have a 'Site Suggestions' forum at the bottom of the main forums page reserved for comments pertaining to SAF so we don't need to see those sent as private messages either.

BTW, we do NOT respond to posts or offer support via email  . The responses posted to questions and problems at SAF may help someone else experiencing the same situation. This may be a non-profit forum and the answers are free, but it still takes time and effort to locate and post the information. We think it's only fair to expect members to take the time to return to SAF and check answers posted in their threads, as well as posting any positive or negative results. Remember, the solutions and comments posted may help someone else in the same predicament.

When can you send a PM?

Some security matters, whether pertaining to SAF memberships or not, may be sensitive. In those instances it is acceptable to send a PM to a staff member that may be able to help.

If you want to talk to a buddy, of course, send a PM.

If you have business of a personal or private nature, please send a PM.

If you have a complaint about the forums or a regular member send a PM to any of the staff. We'll be happy to address it.

If you have a complaint about a staff member, send a PM to an administrator.
